It 'amazing how the only event objectively certain and inexorable in our existence, namely the death, is virtually ignored in our modern culture; where, on the contrary, we hold in the highest consideration a lot of events entirely uncertain (if not highly improbable or, even, scientifically impossible).

As proof of this, it is easy to see how the cult of the dead go gradually to fade, and the cemeteries are visited less and less.

And, as further proof, when some public figure dies, on the media and on the obituaries, it is not never written "it died ..." but rather, "has disappeared ...", "has came at missed ...", "farewell ... ".
